Location Profile:
Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, a part of the Engineered Products Group, is among the worlds leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.
Position Summary:
Building upon level one, with minimal assistance, level two painters will demonstrate practical working knowledge of part preparation, paint mixing and conventional paint spray equipment setup and maintenance. Level two painters shall demonstrate the ability to apply common water and solvent reducible corrosion resistant epoxy primers using conventional and HVLP equipment in pressure, siphon and gravity fed variants. Level two painters shall have received classroom and /or practical experience with regard to NESHAP Operator Certification Training IAW 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH. Relevant training/testing as necessary to ensure compliance shall be provided. Typically, 1-2 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares product for processing through paint booth i.e. racking, sanding.
- Demonstrate practical working knowledge of part preparation
- Paint mixing and conventional paint spray equipment setup and maintenance.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply common water and solvent reducible corrosion resistant epoxy primers.
- Ability to train level one painters.
