Schedule and Location: We are located at 1717 Dufek Drive in Manitowoc, WI. First shift hours are 6:00am-2:00pm, with a flexible overtime schedule when voluntary or required. Our facility is environmentally controlled 365 days a year. That means team members are comfortable year-round, working in air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter!
Position Summary 
 The Test and Packaging Operator is responsible for machine operation and processing in successful achievement towards final product. This role performs the last view of product before preparing for shipping, following all Parker Hannifin Standard Operating Procedures and Safety regulations and practices. This person contributes to and participates in a strong team environment. 
Responsibilities 
 Job Description/Principal Accountabilities
Coils good hose on to packaging reel per specifications and stretch wraps finished reel for shipment. 
Ensures customer specifications are met related to reel size and/or packaging of finished product.  
Documents, logs, compiles reports as required and/or requested.  
Monitors machines and process, reporting irregularities to VSTL for problem identification and resolution. 
Participates in area and process team projects and activities. 
Performs or assists with other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications 
                                                             
High School diploma or equivalency required
Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Mathematical aptitude and proficiency 
Keyboarding skills, with some knowledge of MS Office software 
Ability to operate manual and electric jack; Company will train 
Measurement skills, including use of precision measuring tools and equipment 
Attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot for process and product improvement 
Effective verbal communication and listening skills 
Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure 
Successful prioritizing and management of work projects 
Physical Demands
Our manufacturing positions have several minimum physical requirements to ensure safety and effective job performance, including: 
Standing: Ability to stand for 8+ hours during a shift. 
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE such as safety shoes, eye protection (glasses/goggles), hearing protection, safety vests, and gloves. 
Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands for tasks such as using safety scissors, bending tubing, taping tube, and connecting hose assemblies. 
Sorting: Ability to sort items by size, shape, and color. 
Physical Movements: Includes pushing, pulling, kneeling, and squatting as part of daily duties. 
Lifting: Ability to lift up to 45 pounds safely. 
Sensory Requirements: Must have the ability to perceive color accurately and hear plant paging, alarms, and other important auditory signals. 
Work Environment 
- Manufacturing plant: Exposure to moving parts on a line, as well as moving equipment throughout the plant.
