AVK Industrial Products, a Precision Castparts Company,
manufactures superior mechanical inserts, studs, compression
limiters, installation tools and military standard bolts. AVK
produces blind installed threaded fasteners for transportation and
general industrial spanets worldwide. We use state of the art
high-speed cold forming equipment to produce blind installed
threaded inserts and studs.

Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, assembles seals and fasteners; Sets up and operates foam seal oven;
Inspects seal parts for quality by performing the following duties. Under direct supervision, level
one part finishers complete a number of part finishing tasks such as visual inspection, part
cleaning, minor paint touch up, minor assembly, part spaning, and part polishing. This role will
require basic mechanical aptitude, basic shop math, the use of common hand tools and
powered equipment such as part spaning and polishing equipment. 0-1 YOE
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reads work order for product specifications such as dimensions, number of parts
to be sealed, and instructions for temperature and speed of oven/conveyor
system.
• Sets up oven for self and/or others to run jobs.
• Loads appropriate size trays with seals and fasteners and assembles trays for
oven processing
• Inspects trays to ensure 100 parts sealed.
• Processes parts thru sorting machine for quality assurance
• Processes documentation as required
• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with
quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders
• Lift up to 35lbs
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
• Basic Mechanical Aptitude
• Basic Shop Math
• Use of common hand tools and powered equipment.
Experience & Education
• High school or GED equivalent. 0-1 years of experience in foam seal operations
or similar shop experience.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $16 to $23.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
