Essential Position Functions:

· Loading/offloading of aircrafts and trucks

· Operating ground support equipment

· Repeated and continuous lifting of packages up to 60lbs

· Sort packages based on customer, airport of destination, and other parameters

· Communicate piece counts, and package information to Lead Hands, and Supervisors

· Handle customer packages, and freight with due care and attention

· Ensure all safety and security protocols are adhered to

· Perform general housekeeping duties as required

· Perform tasks associated with Dangerous Goods Handling/Acceptance

· Meet time sensitive deadlines for freight build-up/breakdown as part of a team dynamic

· Learn and apply specific training modules required for position (WHMIS, SMS, Dangerous Goods, Hazard Prevention, etc.…)

· Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

· Working in and around aircraft daily

· Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Graduate or equivalent experience

· Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence or equivalent

· Ability to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance)

· Ability to lift to 60lbs repeatedly

· Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlines

· Excellent punctuality, and attendance habits

· Ability to learn quickly, and adapt to fast changing customer requirements

· Willingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the Winnipeg operation

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Flexible to work shift work, weekends and stat holidays

· Be willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is required

· Be willing to work outside
