Commercial Assistant
The Commercial Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the commercial team. This position provides essential administrative support, assists with customer service and transaction processes, and ensures accurate documentation and record keeping. It offers valuable experience in a dynamic business environment while enhancing organizational and communication skills.
WORK HOURS: Office hours (weekend and evenings as needed)
LOCATION: Vancouver / Richmond (CXH / YVR)
TERM: Full Time Temporary or Part Time Temporary [June 2025 – December 2025]
DEPARTMENT: Commercial

Responsibilities and Expectations
Accounts Support
General admin support for corporate, third party, and other customers. Examples include, but are not limited to, general inquiries, account set-up, and requests from:
- Travel agents
- Concierges
- Tour Operators
- Loyalty Members
- Corporate Clients
Booking support for bookings including, but not limited to:
- Group bookings
- Familiarization (FAM) trips
Staff Travel Support
General assistance with staff travel function including, but not limited to:
- Account setup and assistance
- General questions
Customer Contact Centre Support
As needed, duties required for the Customer Contact Centre, which can include responding to customer requests, assisting with administrative duties, etc.
Ad-hoc Projects and Other
- Participate in special projects and other duties as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Assets
- High school diploma
- + 3 years of admin, customer service, or contact centre experience.
CRITICAL CAPABILITIES
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, Teams, and ability to use new technology for streamlining office management workflow and activities
- Excellent listening, verbal, written and presentation skills
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Professional and friendly manner with ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with diverse groups of people
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines
- Highly approachable, positive, empathetic, resourceful, and service oriented
- Highly dependable, accountable, and can exercise good judgement and discretion
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities and customer needs
