ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
An Associate Field Engineer/Technician performs maintenance, repairs, and installations at customer sites while supporting senior technicians to ensure service quality. The role includes operational support, process improvement, and resource management. They gain technical knowledge through hands-on experience and training. Guided by experienced team members, they contribute to team goals and continuous improvement.
What you will do:
- Install, configure, and maintain equipment at customer sites according to specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and perform routine repairs.
- Provide onsite technical support and training to customers.
- Keep accurate records of service visits, installations, and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and stay current with product knowledge and industry trends.
- Support facility maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain inventory of facility equipment and adhere to emergency and security procedures.
- Ensure data quality by following governance policies and referring queries to SMEs.
- Manage field service inventory and track stock movements accurately.
- Contribute to inventory reports and anticipate future needs based on usage trends.
