ABOUT USSince 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and   beyond,   24   hours   a day, 365   days a   year. Collectively owned   by the   Inuit of Nunavik, through   the Makivvik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of   over 35 aircraft ranging from a De Havilland Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of   the most challenging flight environments.

ROLE OVERVIEWAs a Certified Stores Agent, you will be responsible for the accurate handling, documentation, and movement of aviation parts and materials. In this hands-on role, you’ll ensure compliance with airworthiness standards, support urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, and maintain inventory integrity. You will also supervise junior Stores Agents, providing guidance and oversight, and play a   key role in managing parts logistics and database accuracy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee   and   support junior   Stores   Agents,   ensuring   tasks   are   completed   accurately   and   efficiently.
 - Receive   incoming   parts,   verify   quantities,   inspect   condition,   and   confirm   certification   documentation.
 - Maintain   accurate inventory   records   and ensure timely   updates   in the WinAir   database.
 - Review   parts   pick-lists   and   update   the   database   system (WinAir) as   required.
 - Review   documentation   for   unserviceable   parts to   ensure   completeness   and   compliance.
 - Coordinate   and expedite shipments   and pickups.
 - Issue   and   re-stock   parts   required   for   maintenance   and   operations.
 - Assist   with   urgent   Aircraft   on   Ground   service   requirements.
 - Perform   other   tasks   as   assigned to support departmental   and company   objectives.
 
 WHAT   WILL   MAKE   YOU   AN   IDEAL CANDIDATE- High   school diploma.
 - Minimum   2   years   of   experience   in   aviation   materials   control.
 - Familiarity   with   certification and   airworthiness   requirements   for   aviation materials.
 - Hold   and   maintain   a   valid   driver’s   license.
 - Ability   to   obtain   and   maintain   Airport   Security   Clearance   (RAIC)   and   airside   driver’s   permit.
 - Physically   capable   of   loading   and   unloading   shipments.
 - Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 
- Leadership qualities   and   experience   supervising   or   mentoring   team   members.
 - Flexible   schedule;   may   include   5-5-4   rotation   (day/night   shifts)   or   Monday–Friday   day   shift.
 - Willingness   to   travel   occasionally   to   northern   locations.
 - Fluency   in   French   and   English.
 
 COMPENSATION- Salary   and   benefits   are determined   in accordance   with the   corporate   policy   .
 - Entry   hourly salary -   $22.85

 - Schedule:   Potential for   5-5-4   modified   rotation   or   standard   weekday   shifts.
