Pricing Development & Strategy
Assess and segment demand based on spanet conditions
Maximise revenue by developing optimal fare structure on all routes and beyond points originating from assigned point of origin/commencement.
Identify opportunities for tactical pricing actions for incremental traffic
Benchspan and monitor pricing strategy vs competition
Regulatory fare filing where applicable
Work closely with revenue analysts, overseas managers and spanet contacts to identify revenue opportunities and take early pricing actions
Systems Settings/ Maintenance
Ensure timely and accurate update of fares in relevant distribution channels
Drives best practices within the team and ensure processes are cascaded and adhered to
People Management
Assigns work and monitors to ensure quality and completion; seeks developmental opportunities for team
Regularly provides objective and actionable performance feedback
Aside from being individually innovative, also able to foster innovation amongst team members
Requirements:
Degree with a numerical discipline
6-8 years of experience in a similar role and 3-5 years experience leading a team would be an advantage
Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen
High level of accuracy and detail
Strategic outlook and understanding
Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels.
Ability to maintain the overview and see the bigger picture
Able to create and maintain strong internal and external networks
Able to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
