Are you our new Manager business development?

In Norwegian we keep on taking care of our people.

Your main objectives will be Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address these issues, in collaboration with the other relevant stakeholders.

You will ensure business and customer value is delivered by developing the strategic use of systems and digital customer care channels, in line with the company’s strategy.

You need to secure that the relevant key performance indicators are met.

You also will have responsibility for systems used in Customer Care and participate in related projectes.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain a strategic dialogue on system use between IT and Customer Care
  • Drive digitalization efforts by improving or implementing digital processes
  • Ensure all systems are optimised and assist in facilitating structural system changes
  • Evaluate current processes and systems with Director Customer Care Innovation and Systems and implement procedures to maximise efficiency with a high-cost focus
  • Personnel responsibility
  • Lead, mentor and develop key personnel to build a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, update, and implement policies and procedures
  • Ensure cost efficiency in collaboration within the team
  • Participate in projects or initiatives related to Customer Care
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders, travel must be expected
  • Support broader customer care efforts as needed, contributing to Norwegian’s overall commitment to exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience working with customer care systems and digital customer care channels, in collaboration with IT
  • Understanding of the airline-specific customer journey
  • Good financial understanding
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge about products, rules, and regulations within the Norwegian Group
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Innovative
  • Flexibility and solution orientated
  • Ability and desire to develop professionally
  • Fluent Norwegian/Scandinavian and English skills, both oral and written
  • Eager and willing to take on any challenge!
  • Extensive experience from the travel industry, aviation or airline operations, with a minimum of 7 years in a similar role
  • Strong experience in collaborating across multiple departments and external partners.
  • Fluency in Norwegian/Scandinavian or English, both written and spoken
