Brief about the role/ team/ candidate requirement: The Manager- Flight Safety will be responsible for overseeing the safety management system and document management system within the organization. This role involves setting safety objectives, monitoring performance indicators, conducting safety risk assessments, and ensuring all safety-related documentation is current and compliant with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and ensure seamless document management.
Qualification & Experience: Educational Requirements:
Engineering degree in aviation, Safety Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Licensed AME with minimum 3-5 years of certifying experience
Skill set:
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in document management systems.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Experience in conducting safety risk assessments.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Set safety objectives in collaboration with stakeholders and finalize with the leadership team.
Establish, finalize, and monitor Safety Performance Indicators and Performance Targets with stakeholders.
Ensure regular safety meetings (Safety Action Group, Safety Review Board, Weekly Safety Review) with stakeholders.
Implement Change Management processes as required.
Conduct and participate in Safety Risk Assessments.
Process reported hazards and maintained the Hazard Log.
Analyze safety data.
Promote safety through seminars, monthly magazines, circulars, and bulletins.
Identify necessary changes in manuals/documents based on regulatory and operational changes/requirements.
Revise related documentation to keep it current.
Monitor and ensure all documents, including inter-departmental documents, are synchronized.
Ensure necessary revisions are made whenever there is a change in any related document, including those of other departments.
Provide inputs for the Joint Procedure Manual for wet lease.
Provide safety-related inputs for contracts of code share and wet lease.
