Responsibilities 
 The IT Team Lead reports into the Site IT Lead and will manage a team of 6.  You will be responsible for the shopfloor and office environments for our Ansty Park and satellite sites. The role involves managing day-to-day support, being the Infrastructure, Endpoint and Security technical escalation point (SME), leading a team of technical experts, ensuring uptime and performance, and driving continuous improvement projects. 
This position requires experience in leading a team, having the ability to collaborate with other business and IT teams, and a commitment to delivering excellent service levels to the organisation.
Your day-to-day  
- Manage the daily operations of User support (ServiceNow Incidents & Requests), Active Directory, Endpoint deployment.
 - Collaborate with Group and Corporate IT to manage, support and develop Security & Infrastructure including servers, storage & networks.
 - Ensure uptime, availability and performance of IT systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
 - Oversee disaster recovery and backup processes to ensure business continuity.
 - Lead, mentor and manage the team – Provide technical leadership
 - Implement and optimise ITIL-based processes for incident, problem and change management.
 - Drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce incidents.
 - Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
 - Plan and manage projects such as upgrades, migrations and deployments.
 - Manage regular security and compliance audits.
 - Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiencies within the infrastructure team.
 - Prepare and present monthly reports on performance, project status and service metrics to management.
 
Who we are looking for
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. OR equivalent experience.
 - Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
 - ITSM (ServiceNow experience preferable)
 - Strong knowledge of Active Directory, endpoint management, servers, storage, and virtualisation technologies.
 - Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and infrastructure monitoring tools.
 - Proven experience of IT support and management within a manufacturing environment (Aerospace/Defence industry experience preferable)
 - Desirable certifications: ITIL V4, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
