What You Will Do:

The Event Manager (EM) Lead is responsible for building customer relationships and representing the customer’s interests during daily operations. In addition, the lead is to drive the moments of truth with the customer for all engine shop events. You will be responsible for supporting our Event Managers with issues and problems they are facing while assisting to train and develop them. To succeed in this role, you will be proactive and have strong critical thinking skills. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and adjust and manage competing priorities, have good time management skills, and be self-directed.  You must have the ability to balance operational goals with satisfying customer commitments while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily tasks for the ROCS department

  • Support Event Manager’s planned engine events prior to receipt

  • Manage customer hold process with Event Managers

  • Manage invoicing process to ensure timely issuance following engine shipment

  • Manage customer spanet feedback analysis process with Event Managers

  • Manage profitability of customer engine events for the facility

  • Manage commercial risk analysis for the ROCS department

  • Fluent in English (verbal/written)

  • Ensure export control and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • An Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience in Customer Service, Engineering, or Finance, OR Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant prior experience, OR an Associates Degree with 10+ years prior relevant experience

  • U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 3+ years of experience Supervising employees engaged in employee development

  • Previous field experience and customer interface involving P&W Canada products preferred

  • Experience with Sarbanes/Oxley requirements preferred

  • Familiarity with P&W Canada product warranty policies

This role is:

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
