At Parker Hannifin we’re growing and need a practical, detail-focused Production Assembly Technician on a temporary basis to help turn great designs into reliable products. If you enjoy precise, tactile work, take pride in quality and like being part of a close-knit production team, this role is for you.
Position Summary
Key duties:
- Assemble sub-assemblies and finished products to drawing and quality standards
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies; document results and flag issues
- Help improve processes, reduce waste and share ideas with the team
- Keep a tidy, safe workstation and support colleagues across production
- Participate in training to become proficient in production tasks
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Required Skills & experience Essential:
- Experience in assembly, production or technician role, in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable using hand tools, measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) and test equipment
- Able to read basic engineering drawings and follow written procedures
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Reliable, able to work in shifts if required
Desirable:
- Experience in an engineering environment
- Basic electrical knowledge or experience testing electronic assemblies
