AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Wichita, Kansas that is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles.
The Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly is responsible for ensuring that all fabricated and assembled components meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with engineering specifications.
Essential Job Functions:
- Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
 - Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
 - Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
 - Overall working knowledge of production processes
 - Good communication skills written and verbal
 - Good computing skills
 - Maintain certifications as required
 - Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
 - Verify that tools are qualified
 - Prepare and maintain Quality records
 - Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required
 
         Requirements
        - 5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection 
 - Blueprint reading experience
 - MS Office and SAP experience 
 - Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
 - SAP experience
 - Previous Spirit or Boeing experience
 - Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience
