What You Will Do:

Candidate will maintain Company aircraft, consisting of two Citation C-510 jets, including servicing, trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, communicating with aircraft manufacturer, cleaning, and inspections.  Maintaining hangar facilities and runway.  Supporting launch and recovery operations, coordination with pilots, and communication with passengers.  Normal workday is determined by the Chief Pilot based on work required and accepted industry-wide standards and practices for corporate flight departments. Candidates must live within 45 minutes of Rancocas, NJ

Essential Functions:

  • Will perform maintenance on, and servicing of, Company aircrafts.
  • Will perform inspections, refueling, aircraft movement/tug operation
  • Will monitor scheduled aircraft/engine maintenance and advisories
  • Will perform hangar duties to include runway maintenance, hangar maintenance, hangar clean-up and repair, aircraft cleaning, and other flight ops related duties
  • Will make recommendations to the Chief of Maintenance and Chief Pilot regarding aircraft mechanical condition and airworthiness
  • Will monitor jet fuel storage and coordinate fuel deliveries
  • Will maintain airport vehicles
  • Will maintain aircraft logbook and maintenance records
  • Will adhere to Indel Flight Operations Manual guidance and Company policies (a copy will be provided)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to use/operate all required tools, equipment and computer systems
  • Will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Turbine engine experience

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate physical activity.  Requires climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, or pulling. Work environment involves situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for 30 minutes consecutively
  • Must be able to traverse the hangar, airfield and runway without assistance
  • Must be able to see with 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses), have normal field of vision, have good depth perception, and distinguish between colors.
  • Must be able to hear, distinguish between pitches, and maintain equilibrium
  • Must be physically coordinated, dexterous and have good strength (able to use both hands).
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must maintain a neat, business-like appearance
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

What You Will Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with Inspection Authorization.
  • Five years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance job.
