Role PurposeThis position is responsible to provide administrative, operational, and oversight support for ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards, maintaining the airworthiness of Fireflys aircraft, coordinating audits, and addressing repetitive defects and incidents.
Key AccountabilityPrepare annual audit program and maintain a system / process of tracking the audit finding action plans to ensure timely closure of Quality Assurance Audit Reports. Take necessary follow up action to ensure stakeholders strict adherence to the timeline.Responsible for carrying out periodic audits / surveillance of CAMO activities, Contracted CAMO & Maintenance activities and suppliers / service providers.Responsible for maintaining an efficient system of surveillance on line and base maintenance activities of contracted maintenance organisation.Responsible for coordinating regulatory audits and third party audits such as IOSA audit.Initiate, develop and revise procedures relevant to existing and new aircraft type for incorporation in Level 1, 2, 3 documents of the company.Responsible for supervising the QA activities performed by QA Engineers / QA Executive / QA officersCarry out investigations of incidents, repetitive defects and prepare investigation reports.Raise Mandatory Occurrence Reports as required. Conduct training for staff on Human Factors, SMS, Fuel Tank Safety EWIS etc.Qualifications & Working ExperienceDegree or diploma in any field from recognized higher learning institution or; SPM or equivalent with 5 years experiences in aviation environment.
Skills & KnowledgePossess valid AMEL with ATR 72 / B737NG type rating and attended an acceptable audit course.QA experience in line & base maintenance environment of ATR 72 and / or B737NG aircraft. Having attended Train the trainer course is preferable.Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels and to resolve any issue arises.Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations in relation to aircraft operations, inspection and maintenance.Ability to prepare technical reports in relation to aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness management.Performer under pressure and have the ability to multitask while paying close attention to details and the surrounding environment.Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on safety and quality.Key ChallengesEffective audit / surveillance of internal CAMO activities & contracted CAMO and maintenance activities to ensure compliance to company & regulatory requirement.Investigation of repetitive defects and ensuring effective mitigating actions to prevent recurrence.Timely update of Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 procedures to match business requirements.
