Contract: 1-year industrial placement

Salary: 23,500 per annum

What does the role look like?

Our Engineering Industrial Placement provides you with a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical, real-world engineering environment. Based at our Banbury site, youll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that contribute directly to the design, development, and validation of advanced composite technologies used in aerospace applications.

Youll be involved in a range of activities, from product design and testing to supporting new product introduction, gaining valuable experience that will help you prepare for a future career in engineering.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
•tSupport the identification, design, and validation of new systems and components.
•tCreate CAD models and detailed drawings, defining key technical and quality features.
•tConduct design validation using hand calculations, FEA, and testing.
•tAssist in the design and commissioning of tooling for manufacture and testing.
•tCollaborate with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure technical compliance.
•tAnalyse test data and compile engineering reports.
