As a Data Engineer Intern, you will contribute to building and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure that support our advanced analytics and operational initiatives within the aviation sector.Job Responsibilities:*** Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient ETL processes for various data sources.* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.* Perform data quality checks, data cleaning, and data validation to ensure data integrity.* Contribute to the monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines and infrastructure.* Document data engineering processes, data models, and system configurations.* Learn and apply best practices in data governance, data security, and data privacy.* Participate in team meetings and contribute to technical discussions and problem-solving.Job Qualifications:*** Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.* Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java.* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is a plus.* Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.* Good communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.* Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and data engineering best practices.
