As an EH&S Principal Specialist with our Tucson, AZ EH&S team, you’ll bring a track record of success with continuous improvement of employee health and safety programs and you’ll use your knowledge and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external groups including engineers, factory line employees and management.   
As an EH&S partner you’ll formulate EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management and you’ll have responsibility for multiple EH&S specialties including developing and implementing creative injury reduction programs and campaigns. In addition, you’ll coordinate with business partners and other stakeholders across departments regarding compliance with EH&S policies related to facility and employee practices. 
Specific responsibilities may also include: 
Under the direction of the Engineering Safety Manager, supporting and implementing health and safety programs including electrical safety, explosives safety, non-ionizing/ionizing radiation, laser safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), cranes/hoists, fall protection, machine guarding, job hazard analysis, powered industrial vehicles. 
Serving as a technical resource supporting engineering reviews of Raytheon/customer facilities, processes and products by interpreting and applying OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, IFC, IBC and other applicable regulations and standards.  
This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ facility.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.  RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
